That was pretty good !

Some remakes are Good Some Should Never be Made.

This is outside of Horror, But Should they Remake say the Godfather?
Answer is NO !

I feel the same way with say "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory"

didn't care for Burton's "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"
Yeah I know it's a Darker Version, But WHY ! - LOL

I would Also HATE to see a Remake of "The Wizard of Oz"
Why mess with it (Oh Yea I don't count "The Wiz") :)

think something Like Moby Dick could be done much better
with today's Technology , But doubt the acting would be better.

They never should have touched Fright Night. And nobody will ever outdo Carpenter's The Thing(feel kind of hypocritical since it's a remake). The special effects in that movie are still amazing, I'm not excited about a "prequel" even though I love Mary Elizabeth Winstead. But they could win me over if they went old school with the creatures instead of CGI, no computer could make anything as gruesome and gnarly as what Carpenter had in his film.

Welcome luticrist!

I see where they made a re-make of an old made for tv movie "Don't be afraid of the Dark". The tv version used to scare the piss out of me but I was just a little kid. Those little creatures in the fireplace whispering stuff was spooky to an 8 year old.
