I need to Switch Virus Software.

Currently i use MacAfee - But I need to get rid of it.

It does not work well with Adobe Acrobat.
All My PDF's are being Locked by the Scan.
And this is causing me MAJOR ISSUES with the Cut out Files

I've checked online a few times for a fix - but can't seem to find one.

.

So What Program do you Use, and Is it as Good ?

I'm leaning toward Norton.

Don't do Norton it is a virus in its self. I have used Norton on a few computers and I have had a lot of issues with it. I would personally use AVG it has a free version just to try out but in my honest opinion it is the best out there.

I second the NO! ON NORTON! It is a memory hogging cancer. I use Mcafee at home with no probs and Windows Live One Care at work. I actually love the OneCare...I wouldn't know it was there except for the monthly reports.

Thanks guys.

windows one care is no-more

After going Here:

I just installed Microsoft Security Essentials.

Yea I also liked McAfee But it is messing up my PDF files.
I can't even delete them because their locked.
It seems to be a known Issue - but no Fix in sight.
Was able to find a walk around (program called unlocker) to unlock them but that's just a band aid.

I've used security essentials for a year now. It is very low key in the background. I also keep malwarebytes anti-malware up to date just in case that stupid fake antivirus software tries to download itself onto my computer.

I used to have a similar issue with MacAfee, switched to Avira and the problem was solved. It's not as powerful as MacAfee but still does a good job.
