Something useful ? - LOL
See I like this type of stuff - because It's Different.
Granted Different is not always GOOD or better!
But the guy sure has some serious Talent.
this Guys art reminds me of "Stipple"
But Stipple is much more complicated.
Also known as "Stipple Portraits - Hedcut Pen and Ink Drawings"
Hedcut = adding small lines and dashes.
Now A lot of people never heard of "Stipple" Portraits.
The Wall street journal - still uses Stipple artist. They don't Use Photo's for Portraits.
SO What is Stipple?
Stipple is creating Portraits out of dots (tiny little dots). some dots are thicker than others.
these types of Portraits are more legible than photographs (in news Print)
They don't use software - these are all Hand Drawn with PEN.
each tiny little dot.
Mistakes cannot be erased. A small error will mean that the entire portrait must be begun again. The artist must maintain patience and strong concentration while working on stipple portraits.
Most are done on just a 3" x 5" Card.
Funny How many people read that news paper and never really look at the art.
or what was involved in making that art.
Check out these Portraits - By Artist Randy Glass.
Again this is placing very small dots with an ink pen.
