Her license plate reads "GINANV"

Serious respect to the first one to decode that ;)

Some of you may recognise Izzy from the past on ZP, here she is last year, she carved nicely.. growing up fast! 6 yrs carving now!

The pattern is based on an image of someone else's photo of a zp stencil which I free-handed "fairly closely" for her to carve

Image

TBH the zp pro tool is still a tad too big for her hand, ..& dad doesn't thin big old pumpkins that much so she really has to commit to the struggle for the sake of longevity.

She's come a long way since her Coraline pic...
This year (she go's up to secondary school) her form master is head of film technology & a major star wars buff, so she wants to do a cut through for him, & has decided this is her year for tackling shading...

btw STONEY, How is Alex's carving doing?

Love seeing the next generation of carvers coming forth!!! My own son is 8 and has been doing his own for a couple years now. He lets me do the cut-out parts and only asks for minimal help with his shading. Hope he loves carving for years to come! Can't wait to see what your daughter carves this year! Star Wars is one of our faves, also! Thanks for sharing!

We could learn a lot from crayons; some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, while others bright, some have weird names (like chartreuse), but they all have learned to live together in the same box.

Me, pre-Metallica concert back in July of this year...

Image

I didn't have enough money to buy the meet and greet, but I had a VIP experience, so I still got to pose with the band...

Image

Here I am enjoying the scenery at Hessen House, after a visit to 'Dapper DSM' barbershop, in downtown Des Moines, Iowa while I was in town for work...

Image

And lastly... here I am, drunk out of my brain, and wearing a gladiator helmet with sunglasses on. Don't you dare judge me!

Don't piss me off... I'm running out of places to hide the bodies.
