I always wondered why people only did moving Christmas light displays. I never saw anything for Halloween. I am new here this year, though, so you guys may have seen these done for Halloween before. This guy is my new hero...after St0ney, of course!

Is this a genuine display or is done by a company as advertising? It seems as though it may be along the lines of the electric sheep done by Samsung.

Either way I think it is great.

Stuart, there are many christmas light displays set to music here in the US. Done by computer geeks who know what they are doing. Not me, fer sure! I bet it is on the level. And it rocks. What a good choice of music.

I did something similar to that , just not so complicated for me, I used a product callrd lightshow Gemmy. plugged my lights in to 6 different outlets and it had the pumpkins flashing at different intervals, this belonged to my former boss, he uses it at christmas time. I had more people to stop and look at my display than trick or treaters. I heard there is a new version out that you can hook up with an ipod or mp3 player , need to find it for next year, wiil have to check Sears, Lowes,or Home Depot must be out there somewhere.

This guy used a software and hardware package called Light-o-Rama. He currently has a 140 channel setup, which is ridiculous. If you go back, he's done this for a few years now, getting more advanced each year.

This is just epic.

I would soooo love to have a go at something like this but I think I might have to skip
it. My guess is it wouldn't do too much for my bank balance ( or my marriage come to think of it)

Thanks for posting cyber - I'd meant to keep my eye out for this this year but had forgotten about it.

I just read he now has 1144 channels (!!!) but has converted all lights to LED so is saving on power consumption against previous years.

Yeah the LEDs help in daily electrical useage, but damn the initial cost of all that lighting and simulation equipment! It would be awesome though - and yes ... marriage ending. LOL
