Has anyone used one of these type of grinders instead of a dremel with the flex shaft?

Being much cheaper, do they work as well? It looks like they are mainly used for Wood carving so might be a slower speed with more torque, so does that work well for foam kins?

That is still pretty pricey and only goes up to 22,000 rpm. I used to use a professional model that looked similar when I made jewelry but that unit was $600+.

I went a different route...when I decided to mount multiple dremel tools so that I did not have to switch bits so often I bought two cheap rotary tools from Wen. The are less than $18 and come with a flex shaft. So far so good but keep in mind I do not put a big load on them as I have a 4 dremel setup. None of my units ever get over heated because I switch them up so often.
