I bought the new 8 quart instantpot duo on prime day recently.
Wondering for those users who have "this sort of thing" what to cook that can be frozen after cooking without degradation (put in a sealer pouch & just pulled out for a re-heat ..thinking halloween.
Anyone frozen gnocchi ? ..made a beef & veg stew yesterday & added it for some texture difference, but just need to prep food now for convenience without simply snacking on crud, ...tasty guzzle food for October, I always seem to get viral in Oct & obviously it isn't a healthy month due to hours kept.
You know its bad when you start & finish the day on energy drinks & scotch eggs!
Favourite one pot suggestions that can be made in advance?

I worked in Italian Restaurants for many years, (like 15 yrs)As a waiter and as a Cook and Manager.
You can Freeze Gnocchi, But it's better to Just Blanch it (before freezing) - and with-out the Sauce...
Then you, just toss it boiling water for like 5 minutes... add sauce then eat...
Any pasta, in sauce then frozen, will taste like it... (Old and re-cooked)

The monk & I cooked up 3 x big batches of bolognese sauce (she needed the veg chopping practise) ..i'm very impressed by the taste, speed & texture of spaghetti pressure cooked in the instantpot (not forgetting the miserly water & electric consumption, ..totally won over!
Originally we were going to make complete meals, but as per your advice, & the speed / quality of cooking / texture ...it was a no brainer to spend a mere 8-10 minutes making it from packet.
the instantpot ought to be a cooking standard in schools.
