If you Use Photobucket - to add images to the Forum - PLEASE STOP TODAY !

This Company now wants to Charge $399.99 a year, to those that Put their images on 3rd Party Sites.
(i.e. Web Forums)... It's really ridiculous.

Many Folks online now Show this Image. for all their Posted Photobucket images posted.

(if your in good standing with them)
if you had a Pro-Account or Ad Free Account - they will let you Go until DEC...

After December - they will be doing this for ALL Accounts..... (that don't Pay this Ridiculous FEE)

What they are Doing is Distroying Every Web Forum on the Internet. People have used this service for Years...
(Hosting Images to Post on 3rd party Sites WAS Their Selling Point) .

:Frustrated:

What does this Do to ALL the Forums... well all Old post will have these Stupid images, in place of the ones Posted.

And Now that Folks will either need to Attach photo's to their Post, (Which I have to pay for the web space).

Or find other Image Hosting Sites....
I got one foot in the grave, the other on a banana peel !

I just stumbled accross Imgur ( and was wondering if that may be a suitable replacement for Photobucket:

Imgur is the best free image hosting website available because it lets you store as many photos as you like without having them deleted until you decide you want them gone.

It has a massive user base with support for popular image formats and user comments. It's actually more of a central hub for storing and sharing photos than just a simple image hosting service.

In addition to storing your photos, Imgur lets you crop and resize pictures as well as adjust other advanced settings through its online editor.

No account is required to upload photos
You can upload an unlimited number of pictures
Images are stored forever
Supports uploads via drag and drop
Allows uploading multiple photos at once
Able to create photo albums
Can upload images via a URL
Supports sharing pictures with anyone
Supports direct linking for sharing images
Has a gallery of popular public photos
Supports very large GIF uploads
Supports upload via paste

Doesn't support uploading files like PSDs

Acceptable Image Formats
APNG, BMP, GIF (still or animated), JPG, JPEG, PDF, PNG, TIF, TIFF, XCF
